February 2025 Update
A big update after a few weeks of matches for our Vikings Teams including a half-term break.
The Ladies A with 2 wins and a loss in February beating Bacchas A 4-2, and thumping Ramsey A 5-1, but a 2-1 loss to Valkyrs A leaves them in 3rd place currently in the league with a clash against top of the table Castletown this weekend which will be a tough match.

The new look Ladies B endured a tough February with a 6-0 defeat to Bacchas B and a very heavy 12-0 defeat to Valkyrs B (albeit missing many key players that day), but a 1-0 win against Castletown D keeps the Ladies B in mid-table with a match this weekend against Castletown D where they will be hoping to get another 2 points on the board.

Ladies C in similar fashion to the A team gained 2 wins during February, a close 2-1 win against Bacchas C and a 1-0 defeat of Ramsey B but they slipped to a 4-1 defeat to Valkyrs C.
However the Ladies C face Castletown E this weekend hoping for a morale boosting win having dispatched the southerners 9-0 last time.

Vikings Ladies C Player of the Match 22nd February – Katie Jacobs
The mens top team with the same as the Ladies top team gaining 2 wins but suffering one loss.
A narrow 1-0 defeat to league leaders Bacchas A was followed by an 8-1 demolition of Valkyrs B and a comfortable 4-0 win over Valkyrs A.
The Mens A now sit just behind Bacchas A in second place in the table with Castletown A to face this weekend.

A solid set of results for the Mens B this month with 2 wins and a draw leaving them in second place in the table only on goal difference to Bacchas B.
A 1-1 draw to Bacchas B started the month followed by a 3-1 win over Castletown B and then sweeping Bacchas D away 4-1.
Harlequins B are their opponents this weekend.

The Mens C team sit top of Division 2 just a point ahead of Valkyrs C after a draw and two wins this month.
An all action 4-4 draw against Valkyrs C started the month followed by a 5-0 walkover of Bacchas Colts and a slim 1-0 win over Castletown C.
Danny Kane comfortably leading the Mens C scoring charts this season and the Mens C will be hoping he has his scoring touch this weekend as they face Valkyrs C knowing that a win will go a long way to securing the league title this season (barring any disasters!).

The U15s A and B teams with not many matches through February, the A team losing 6-1 to Bacchas and 9-2 to Valkyrs, and the B team with a 5-0 walkover defeat to Valkyrs and a 2-0 defeat to Bacchas.
